I. BACKGROUND
[1] On July 16, 2009, the Inspector, Southern Region, Environmental Management, Alberta Environment, issued Reclamation Certificate No. 00252804-00-00 to ConocoPhillips Canada Ltd. for the reclamation of the Crestar 100 Little Bow well located at SE 17-015-19-W4M, near Lomond, Alberta.
[2] On September 22, 2009, the Board received a Notice of Appeal from Mr. Ronald Dodds, the landowner.
[3] A mediation meeting was scheduled for December 15, 2009, however, on November 10, 2009, the Appellant advised in a telephone conversation with Board staff that he had reached an agreement with ConocoPhillips and was withdrawing his appeal.
II. DECISION
[4] Pursuant to section 95(7) of the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act and based on the withdrawal of the appeal by Mr. Ronald Dodds, the Board hereby discontinues its proceedings in Appeal No. 09-018.
