IN THE MATTER OF THE

employer.

 

 

 

WHEREAS the Canada Industrial Relations Board, by interim order no. 8875-U dated June 17, 2005, certified the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada as the bargaining agent for a unit of employees of Dilico Ojibway Child and Family Services comprised of "all employees of Dilico Ojibway Child and Family Services working in and out of Fort William First Nation and the City of Thunder Bay, Ontario, excluding executive secretary, senior finance officer, supervisors and those above the rank of supervisors and students";

AND WHEREAS, pursuant to its powers under section 20(1) of the Code, the Board reserved its jurisdiction with respect to the final description of the bargaining unit;

 

AND WHEREAS, following consideration of the parties submissions dated July 8, 2005, with respect to the bargaining unit description in interim order no. 8875-U, the Board is satisfied that the parties are in agreement to include the casual employees and to exclude from the bargaining unit the position of systems coordinator, and has now determined that it is appropriate to issue the final order.


 

NOW, THEREFORE, it is ordered by the Canada Industrial Relations Board that the said order of certification be amended, and it is hereby amended, by deleting the description of the certified bargaining unit contained therein and by substituting therefor the following:

 

"all employees of Dilico Ojibway Child and Family Services working in and out of Fort William First Nation and the City of Thunder Bay, Ontario, excluding executive secretary, senior finance officer, systems coordinator, supervisors and those above the rank of supervisors, and students."
